Em mais uma disputa a nível estadual, desta vez na Copa Carlinhos Furacão, realizada em Salvador, neste último sábado (28/04), atletas da Escola de Boxe Futuro Campeão, conseguem medalhas importantes para o município.
De acordo com informações do professor Genilson Alves, a participação de sua equipe foi muito boa. “Mais uma vez, nossos garotos fizeram bonito, fizemos uma grande final nesta 7ª edição, da Carlinhos Furacão. São Felipe, como sempre bem representado através do boxe, nossos atletas fizeram grandes lutas. Hoje temos atletas de alto nível, que compete de igual com várias academias tanto da capital como do interior do estado”, destacou ele.
Ele ainda acrescentou, que mesmo com as constantes mudanças de atletas, alguns que saíram e outros que chegaram, não afetou o resultado do trabalho que vem sendo desenvolvido ao longo dos últimos anos. “Fico muito feliz, em ver mudanças com saída e chegada de atletas, mas o desempenho é sempre o mesmo, prova disso são os títulos que a escola tem conquistado nos últimos anos. Nesta nossa participação na Carlinhos Furacão, conquistamos uma medalha de outro, com o atleta Cristiano que não deu chance para seu adversário vencendo por 3×0. Michel um garoto de ouro, nasceu na nossa escola, fez uma belíssima apresentação, perdeu por pontos, ficando com o vice-campeonato em sua categoria. O talentoso Lucas França, iniciou impondo o ritmo da luta, mas na reta final sentiu a parte física, ficou também com o vice-campeonato. Lucas Queiroz, Daniel, e Guilherme, ficaram em terceiro lugar conquistaram medalhas de bronze. No total conquistamos seis medalhas; uma medalha de ouro, duas pratas e três de bronze. Após cinco rodadas de disputas acirradas, precisamos corrigir algumas falhas e persistir no trabalho”, pontuou-o.
O professor finalizou sua entrevista agradecendo os parceiros. “Quero aqui, agradecer a todos que tem contribuído direta e indiretamente neste trabalho. A Secretaria de Educação, na pessoa, da Secretária Maria da Glória, Anna Calmon, o chefe do transporte Francisco, o motorista França, e os comerciantes que tem sido um grande parceiro desse trabalho.
